  16.      This command is used by the Printer Manager and other utilities
  17.      (mkcentpr(1m), mknetpr(1m), mkserialpr(1M)) to build a list of supported
  18.      printers.

  20.      When modelinfo is first run it creates the file
  21.      /var/spool/lp/modelinfo.dat which contains the modelinfo output.  The
  22.      contents of this file are also printed to standard out.  The directories
  23.      /var/spool/lp/model and /var/spool/lp/PPD_model are searched to determine
  24.      supported printers.  (/var/spool/lp/PPD_model will only exist if the
  25.      Impressario PPD driver has been installed.)

  27.      If any file in the searched directories is newer then the existing
  28.      modelinfo.dat file then the modelinfo.dat file is rebuilt; otherwise, the
  29.      modelinfo.dat is simply written to standard output when modelinfo is run.

  31.      The ----uuuu option can be used to force the modelinfo.dat file to be updated.

  33.      You must be root to run modelinfo.

  36.      while it updates the /var/spool/lp/modelinfo.dat file.

  39.      printer use the Printer Manager tool or the mkcentpr(1M), mknetpr(1M),
